Held on Sunday, February 9th!”The 28th Shirayuki Kura Matsuri”(The Itami Winter Genki Matsuri 2025 will also be held on the same day)

On Sunday, February 9th, Konishi Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. will be holding the 28th Shirayuki Brewery Festival at Shirayuki Brewery Village Chojugura and the surrounding area.

It is crowded with over 10,000 visitors every time.

This year, to commemorate the 475th anniversary of the company’s founding, a commemorative lecture will be held with author Kaoru Takada. In addition, there will be a lot of fun events, such as the ever-popular sake barrel opening ceremony, lucky bags, a paid sake and beer tasting corner, and a kids’ corner.

This year, we will also be broadcasting a remote tour of Konishi Sake Brewery.

The number of lucky bags is limited so hurry!

The kids’ corner is fun for families, and is great for people with children.

Also on the day, the Itami Winter Genki Festival 2025 will be held at Sangendera Square.

The event will also run from 10am to 4pm.

Here you’ll find a lineup of 25 restaurants and shops, including popular local Itami restaurants.

On stage, 13 dance teams will demonstrate the results of their daily training.

Kaoru Takada profile
Author.
Born in Takarazuka, Hyogo Prefecture. Graduated from the Faculty of Law, Chuo University.
In 1993, she made her debut as a manga author (under the pen name Kawafuji Ritsuka) in Shueisha’s ladies’ comic magazine YOU.
She made her debut as a novelist in 2008. Her works include the bestselling “Miotsukushi Ryori-cho” series, as well as the “Akinai Seiden Kin to Gin” series, “Shusse Bana”, “Renka no Chigiri Shusse BanaⅡ”, “Ai Eien ni Ari”, “Gin Ni Kan”, “Hare Tokidoki Namida Ame”, “Furusato Gingasen: Kido Shunjyu”, and “Eki no Nawa Yoake: Kido Syunjyu II”.
In 2013, she won the first Osaka Honma Book Award for “Gin Ni Kan,” and in 2022 she won the 10th Grand Prize at the same awards for “Furusato Ginga Sen: Kido Syunjyu.”

We sell wine from “Sera Winery,” which uses local grapes to brew wine in Sera Town, located in the central-eastern part of Hiroshima Prefecture. Konishi Sake Brewery Co., Ltd. has invested in this winery.
